Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Money Fox (“Money Fox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a personal-finance website owned by the Brazilian company Foxhound Digital LTDA (CNPJ 44.451.109/0001-10). We help people with thin credit files, sub-prime scores, recent immigrants, and low-income households build credit and avoid predatory debt. Our revenue comes from programmatic ads and a short list of clearly labeled affiliate links—never direct bank funding—so our reviews stay independent.

2. Notice at Collection

When you enter information on any Money Fox form or interact with our site, you are presented with—or linked to—this Privacy Policy. It tells you:

  • What categories of personal information we collect,
  • Why we collect it,
  • How we use and share it, and
  • How you can exercise your privacy rights.

If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use our services.

6. Sharing & “Selling/Sharing” Under U.S. State Laws

We disclose data only to:

  • Service providers (hosting, email, analytics) under written contracts;
  • Advertising & affiliate partners to serve relevant offers;
  • Legal authorities when required.

Although we never exchange data for money, California and some other states define “sale” or “sharing” broadly to include certain cookie and ad-tech transfers. We therefore treat those transfers as a share and give you the right to opt out (see Section 9).

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use first- and third-party cookies for core site operations, preferences, analytics (e.g., Google Analytics 4), and interest-based advertising (e.g., Google Ad Manager). You can manage cookies via your browser settings or our cookie banner.

  • Email opt-out – Send a message to team@foxhound.com.br with the subject line “Opt-out of sale/sharing.”

We do not collect “Sensitive Personal Information” (as defined by CPRA) in a way that triggers the right to limit its use.

10. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because no industry standard exists, we do not currently respond to DNT. Use our cookie controls or GPC instead.

11. Children’s Privacy

Money Fox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, please email us and we will delete it.

12. Data Security & Retention

We safeguard personal information with TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and quarterly vulnerability scans.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes listed above or to meet legal obligations, after which we securely delete or anonymize it (see retention column in Section 3).

13. International Transfers

Our servers and many service providers are located in the United States. By using our services, you consent to your information being transferred to, processed, and stored in the U.S. and other jurisdictions that may have different data-protection standards.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date and, if significant, we will also notify you via email or site banner.
